About the Company: HDC, LLC (HuDisCo.com) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned business and is the distribution partner in the US for Hensoldt line of optics by Carl Zeiss Optronics, GmbH of Wetzler, Germany. This brings to HDC the opportunity to supply world‐class optical instruments including reflex and telescopic sights for firearms, spotting scopes, and HDC’s extensive knowledge and experience in the use of field and practical optics.

The president of HDC, Nathan Hunt, is a disabled military and special operations combat veteran and has experienced the entire range of this industry having served in end‐user, retail, and wholesale capacities. He is widely recognized for ensuring that superior service and technical support is provided for clientele.

About the Owner: HDC,LLC (HuDisCo.com) President, Nathan Hunt, is a six year veteran of the U.S. Army, having spent three years with both the 101st Airborne Division and the 160th SOAR (Special Operations Aviation Regiment). During this time he was a Blackhawk Crewchief and later assigned to become a crewmember with the 160th Nightstalkers under USASOC at Ft. Campbell, KY.  While serving, Nathan operated with a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance and attained the rank of Sergeant. He has also completed 5 tours, totaling 19 months, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After completing a six year contract Nathan received an Honorable Discharge and departed from active duty service.

Firearms/weapons training includes: Aerial Operation of flex fire M134 (GAU-2B) mini-gun, Advanced Marksmanship Training and Unit Armorer course, Qualified as expert with carbine and sidearm, Tactically and technically proficient with weapons safety, close quarter carbine and pistol techniques, pistol speed shooting and concealed carry techniques, weapons transitioning, immediate action, emergency reloads, and employment of, smoke, CS, fragmentation and other grenades. Other specialized training included , Battlefield Trauma, Combat Assault and Rappelling, and Anti-terrorism Awareness along with others.  The training and education mentioned above allowed Nathan to serve our country in various capacities - while being exposed to new levels of increased responsibility for the safety and welfare of civilians, brothers-in-arms and self.

For the first year after military service, Nathan worked in the firearm sales and gunsmithing department of one the Southeast’s most prominent firearms retailers. While there, he became intimately familiar with many high-end firearms, optics, and accessories and learned the strengths and weaknesses of the various brands. 

Before establishing HDC, LLC, Nathan spent a year with a nationally known riflescope company based in Idaho working as the Account Sales Manager.
